LesstanoL® brand Policosanol (or Polycosanol) contain’s naturally-occurring waxy alcohols derived from sugar cane wax. Garuda’s LesstanoL® Policosanol 60 (Octa-60) contains a minimum of 90% Policosanol of which 55-70% is 1-Octacosanol along with other full spectrum higher aliphatic alcohols, including tetracosanol, hexacosanol and triacontanol. LesstanoL® brand Octacosanol is standardized to 80-95% 1-Octacosanol (OCTA 95). Octacosanol is the most well known of the aliphatic alcohols containing a straight 28-carbon chain.
