- Functionality
Silicone sealant, low modulus elastomer, acetoxy type, cross-linking on contact with ambient humidity.
Features & Benefits
- Ready-to-Use Product Features
- Advantages
- Excellent adhesion without primer on most non
- porous substrates (glass, anodized aluminum)
- Resists extreme temperatures: from 40°C to +140°C Unalterable.
Applications & Uses
- Markets
- Applications
- Applications
- Installation of single and double glazing.
- Realization of window joints (end to end, overlapping, etc.).
- Assembly glass/glass, glass/aluminum, glass/plastic, glass/wood, aluminum/aluminum.
- Waterproofing and sealing of metal constructions (curtain walls, aluminum profiles, etc.).
- Creation of window joints (end to end or overlapping).
- Implementation
Preperation
- The work must be carried out in accordance with DTU 39 / NFP78 201 standard.
- Glass, tiles: degrease with alcohol followed by wiping with a clean cloth.
- Metals, aluminum: same cleaning as above.
- Plastics: Same cleaning as above but with a solvent recommended by the manufacturer. In general, the substrates must be sound, dry, dust-free and free from fatty substances.
Manual
- Apply compression gaskets (foam backer rod) if necessary and masking tapes to obtain a neat application.
- Apply the sealant with a manual or pneumatic gun (no reheating is necessary). Tighten and smooth the joint with a wet spatula in order to press the mastic against the side surfaces. Remove the masking tapes.
- The cleaning of the equipment is preferably done with white spirit before the sealant dries or by scraping after hardening.
Consumption
Depending on the dimensions of the seal, a 310 ml cartridge will make it possible (the length of the seal is expressed in meters):

Technical Details & Test Data
- On Reticulated Joint
Adhesion Excellent without primer on most non-porous substrates (glass, anodized aluminum, etc.).
Resistance Very good for climatic aging, retains its mechanical properties over time (no cracking, shrinking or chalking)
All these data are measured at 23°C and 50% relative humidity. Depending on the crosslinking conditions, these times may therefore vary.
- Comments
Not recommended on metal surfaces which can oxidize, porous materials and on glasses treated without a preliminary test.
Storage & Handling
- Storage
Store at a temperature between +5°C and +30°C. The expiry date noted on the packaging is measured on the unopened product, stored at 20°C under normal humidity conditions.
