General Plastics Corporation KF Polymer (PVDF)

KF Polymer (PVDF) is a crystalline fluorocarbon resin with a high molecular weight polymer of vinylidene fluoride that contains 59 percent fluorine by weight. PVDF, as a coating, provides an excellent corrosion barrier in temperatures ranging from -4°F to + 280°F. It is extremely tough, abrasion resistant, and easily machined.

Resistant to most acids, alkalies, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols and strong oxidizing agents. Highly Polar solvents such as acetone and ethyl acetate may cause swelling.
