Halar® (ECTFE)

Halar ®(ECTFE) is a melt-processable fluoropolymer from Allied Corporation, Halar E-CTFE is the result of a 1:1 alternating copolymer of ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethytene. Halar E-CTFE is a tough material with excellent impact strength and abrasion resistance, with excellent chemical resistance, and a broad use temperature range ranging from cryogenic to 320°F.

Chemical Resistance: Resistant to strong acids organic solvents, chlorine and aqueous caustic. Not stress cracked by any organic fluids. Swelled by some chlorinated solvents.
