Applications & Uses

- Direction for Use
GK-OIL & GREASE™ can be diluted with water between 1:2 for heavier loads and stains, down to 1:4 for lighter applications. When used outdoors, temperature should be above 55º F for best results. Use full strength for heavily stained areas, wet surface first and scrub with broom or brush. Allow product to stand for ten to twenty minutes, longer for tough stains. Tough stains may take multiple applications.
- Hard Surface Cleaning - concrete, concrete pavers, asphalt:
Wet the contaminated surface, apply GK-OIL & GREASE™, broom or scrub brush, and allow it to work for 20-30 minutes. Keep the applicated area damp during treatment and repeat as necessary. For best results, if conditions permit, use after sun-down, do not rinse and leave overnight to dry.
- Porous Surface Cleaning – soils:
Scrape surface, dampen and apply product. Scrape the surface again and rinse.
- General Equipment Cleaning:
Do not pre-wet surfaces or use in direct sunlight on painted surfaces. A 1:3 dilution is recommended for most applications with a maximum recommended dilution of 1:4.
- Pressure Washing/Degreasing:
Pressure blast heavy materials. Spray surface with 50/50 solution and pressure wash again from bottom up. Do not allow surfaces to dry.
- Floor Machines:
Depending on the severity of the floor stain, a 1:3 dilution is recommended to start with. Once the floor is clean, the dilution can be reduced to a maximum of 1:4.
- Precautions and limitations:
Wear protective clothing (rubber gloves, eye protection). Pre-test new finishes by applying to a small area first. Best results are seen when applied to damp concrete surfaces.
