Application Technique
Mixing Sequence
  • Shake bottle well before use.
  • Half fill spray tank with water and begin agitation.
  • Empty the required quantity into the spray tank and add the balance of the water.
  • Ensure agitation is maintained throughout the spraying operation.
  • Do not allow the spray tank agitation to stop whilst product remains in the tank.
Compatibility

Viscofol Calcium is tank mixable with most spray applied chemicals.

Applications

Application Rate: Typically 3-5 liter/ha in 200 liters of water. Refer to crop specific information below.

Crop Dose rate
Tree fruit (avocado, papaya, apple, pear, guava, citrus, peach, plum, walnut, etc.)

3.0 L/ha. - 5.0 L/ha from the appearance of flower buds.
500 L/ha water minimum. From the fall of the petals, 3 applications every 10 days.

Berries (Strawberries, Raspberries, etc.)

2.0 L/ha - 3.0 L/ha to the appearance of the first flower buds and repeat 4 applications every 10 days.

Table Grapes

For improving the post-harvest condition of the crop, use 3.0 L/ha – 4.0 L/ha.
Make 2-4 applications when berries are between 2-6mm and 8-10mm, depending on the area and variety.
Use a high water volume.

Broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower

3.0 L/ha - 5.0 L/ha from the 4 to 9 sheet and repeat every 10-14 days up to 15 days before harvest.

Cucurbits (melon, watermelon, pumpkin, cucumber, etc.)

3.0 L/ha - 5.0 L/ha 1st application floral budding. 2nd application to fruit set and continue every 7 days during fruit development.

Lettuce

3.0 L/ha - 5.0 L/ha apply at 10-14 DAT and repeat if necessary every 10-12 days.

Vegetables (Garlic, Onions, etc.)

3.0 L/ha - 5.0 L/ha 1st application to the 4th leaf. 2nd application to the filling bulb.
Repeat application every 10 days.

Potato

5.0 L/ha once emerged 100%, repeat as necessary at intervals of 10-14 days.
