Mixing Sequence
  • Shake bottle well before use.
  • Half fill spray tank with water and begin agitation.
  • Empty the required quantity into the spray tank and add the balance of the water.
  • Ensure agitation is maintained throughout the spraying operation.
  • Do not allow the spray tank agitation to stop whilst product remains in the tank.
Compatibility

Viscofol Magnesium is tank mixable with most spray applied chemicals.

Apples & Pears

4 L/ha after petal fall. Repeat where necessary 10 to 14 days later.
In case of severe deficiency apply also before flowering (pink bud) at the same rate.
Water rate: 500 to 1,000 L/ha.

Cereals

2 to 4 L/ha from 2 leaf stage to first node detectable (Zadok's G.S. 12-31).
For moderate to severe deficiency repeat the application in 10 to 14 day intervals. It is recommended that a further application is made of 2 1L/ha at flag leaf ligule just visible to anthesis complete (Zadok's G.S. 39-69). Water rate 200 L/ha.

Cherries & Plums

4 L/ha at fruit set. Where necessary a second application at the same rate may be made 10 to 14 days later.
Water rate: 200 to 500 L/ha.

Conifers

2 to 4 L/ha when there is new season leaf production and again at the same rate in early autumn.
Water rate: 500 to 1 ,000 L/ha.

Grass/Turf

2 to 4 L/ha with spring growth. Where necessary repeat at the same rate in intervals of 14 days.
Water rate: 200 L/ha.

Pasture (grass for grazing)

5 L/ha applied 7 to 14 days before grazing.
Water rate: 200 L/ha.

Leeks (field grown)

2 to 4 L/ha 10 to 14 days after transplanting and repeated in 10 to 14 day intervals where required.
Water rate: 200 1/ha.

Lettuce (field grown)

2 to 4 L/ha 14 days after transplanting and repeated in 10 to 14 day intervals where required. Final application must be made at least 1 month before harvest.
Water rate: 500 L/ha.

Maize

2 to 4 L/ha at 4 to 6 leaves.
Water rate: 200 L/ha.

Oilseed rape

If only one application is made apply 2 to 4 L/ha at the onset of stem extension. In case of moderate to severe deficiency apply 2 to 4 L/ha at 4-6 leaves and the same again at the onset of stem extension.
In severe cases an extra application at the same rate can be made 10 to 14 days later. Avoid flowering.
Water rate: 200 L/ha.

Parsnips

4 L/ha when crop is 15 cm tall. In case of moderate to severe deficiency repeat at same rate in intervals of 10 to 14 days up to a maximum of 3 applications.
Water rate: 200 L/ha.

Peas, Beans, Carrots & Linseed

2 to 4 L/ha when crop is 15 cm tall.
In case of moderate to severe deficiency repeat at same rate in intervals of 10 to 14 days.
Water rate: 200 L/ha. NB. on carrots final application to be made 1 month before harvest.

Potatoes

2 to 4 L/ha one week after 100% emergence and where required during tuber bulking. In case of moderate to severe deficiency repeat at the same rate in intervals of 10 to 14 days. Water rate: 200 L/ha.

Raspberries

4 L/ha at commencement of flowering.
Water rate: 200 to 500 L/ha.

Strawberries (field grown)

4 L/ha at green bud. Repeat at same rate if necessary in 10 to 14 day intervals.
Water rate: 200 to 500 L/ha.

Sugar beet, Broccoli, Sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Calabrese, Kale, Fodder Beet, Red Beet, Swedes & Turnips

2 to 4 L/ha at 4-6 leaves. In case of moderate to severe deficiency repeat same rate at 10 to 14 day intervals.
Water rate: 200 L/ha.
