Inulin: extraction from Cichorium Intybus (chicory) root with water. Deproteinization with CaO. Followed by filtration and purification through distillation. Alpha-glucan oligosaccharide: enzymatic polymerisation from sucrose and maltose involving glucosyl transferase. The sucrose is extracted from Beta Vulgaris (sugar beet). The maltose is extracted from Triticum Vulgaris (wheat). The enzyme is derived from malt.
