Hazards To Humans And Domestic Animals
  • Harmful if swallowed, absorbed through skin or inhaled. Causes Moderate Eye Irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Avoid breathing vapor or spray mist. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.Prolonged or frequently repeated skincontact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Mixers, Loaders, Applicators and other handlers must wear:

  • Long-sleeved shirt and long pants
  • Chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof material.
  • Shoes plus socks

 

User Safety Recommendations
  • Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instruction for washables, use detergent and hotwater. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.
  • A dust/mist filtering respirator must be worn if mixer/loader/applicatorusesa high-pressure hand wand sprayer.
Engineering Controls
  • When handlers use closed systems, enclosed cabs, or aircraft in a manner that meets the requirements listed in the Worker Protection Standard (WPS) for agricultural pesticides (40 CFR 170.240(d)(4-6)), the handler PPE requirements may be reduced or modified as specified in the WPS
User Safety Recommendations

Usersshould:

  • Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.
  • Remove PPE immediately after handling this product.
  • Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.
  • Remove clothing/PPEimmediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.
Environmental Hazards
  • This product is toxicto fish, aquatic invertebrates and wildlife. Do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Drift and runoff may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in neighboring areas. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash water or rinsate.
  • Groundwater Advisory: This chemical is known to leach through soil into groundwater under certain conditions as a result of labeleduse. Use of this chemical in areas where soils are permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow, may result in groundwater contamination.
  • Surface Water AdvisoryThis chemical can contaminate surface water through spray drift. Under some conditions, it may also have a high potential for runoff into surface water for several days to weeks after application. These include poorly drainingor wet soils with readily visible slopes toward adjacent surface waters, frequently flooded areas, areas over-laying extremely shallow ground water, areas with infield canals or ditches that drain to surface water, areas not separated from adjacent surface waters with vegetated filter strips and areas over-laying tile drainage systems that drain to surface water.
Environmental Hazards
  • It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
  • Read all Directions for Use carefully before applying.
  • Do notapply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, or pets directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe,consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation.

Storage & Handling

Storage and Disposal
  • Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage and disposal.
  • Pesticide Storage: Store product in original container only, away from other pesticides, fertilizers, food or feed.
  • Pesticide Disposal: Wastes resulting from the use of this product must be disposed of on-site or at an approved waste disposal facility.
  • Container Handling: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Clean container promptly after emptying. Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or a mix tank and drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Fill the container ¼ full with water and recap. Shake for 10seconds. Pour rinsate into application equipment or a mix tank or store rinsate for later use or disposal. Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip. Repeat this procedure two more times.Offer for recycling, if available or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill or by incineration. Do not burn unless allowed by state and local ordinances.
