Gowan Seed Company was founded in 1997 by Jon Jessen and Steve Slocum. Jon and Steve quickly found a kinship for smart business practices and good ideas. Their collaboration quickly led them down the road of creating a seed company specializing in providing high-quality vegetable seeds to farmers across the United States.



Gowan Seed started in the roots with muddy boots, and now works every day to support farmers and customers through product research and development, exceptional customer service, and global knowledge of agriculture industry trends.
