• This multipurpose and powerful emulsifying blend allows the formulation of natural products that are free of alcohols and glycols – from light lotions, to heavy creams and balms - using the minimum amount of ingredients, while still achieving maximum performance
• GreenWax™ S delivers superior absorption properties that enhance the penetration of skin care products. It also optimizes formulation stability, works to provide a wide range of product viscosities and may improve preservative system performance
• GreenWax™ S offers a lightweight and pleasant feel, leaving skin feeling soft with no greasy residue. This complex can be incorporated into formulations with ease when compared to traditional emulsifiers. There is no need for additional co-emulsifiers in most formulas

Technical Details & Test Data

Formulating Guidelines

Add GreenWax™ S to oil phase. Heat oil phase to 60°C. Heat water phase to 60°C. Incorporate oil phase into water phase while mixing. Homogenize for 3-5 mins while maintaining at 60°C

Tips:

• Avoid strong cationic emulsifers
• Use ~ 2-3% for lower viscosity
• Use ~ 5% for higher viscosity
