Green Source Organics CO2 Extracted Green Lipped Mussel Powder

CO₂ Extracted Greenshell Mussel Powder (also termed Green Lipped Mussel) are harvested in New Zealand’s pristine Marlborough sound. Our EGLMP is produced by using food grade, cleaned mussel meat without shell. The meat is then CO₂ Extracted. Under this process the proteins are concentrated and the lipid fraction is extracted/reduced increasing stability by reducing oxidation. The resulting low moisture fine powder enables better mixing and solubility with other ingredients. The freeze dried, extracted Green Lipped Mussel Powder is the protein rich fraction remaining after the CO₂ extraction of non-polar lipids. The Perna canaliculus mussels (mollusc) are harvested from the Marlborough Sounds region of New Zealand. The product is imported under a veterinary health certificate for Pet Feed.
