The black tulip’s myth spread around the world thanks to Alexandre Dumas. Black tulip, a symbol of absolute beauty and mystery, reaches all its magniicence with the variety called Queen of the night, used to produce DuMAFloRiNE®. The myth becomes then reality. The black tulip (Tulipa gesneriana L.) belongs to the Liliaceae family and is cultivated in the Netherlands. The lowers of black tulips contain a high level of speciic lavonoids with a strong antioxidant power. The extract is obtained after hydro-alcoholic maceration of the lowers.
