- Mechanism of Action
Dual action: Rosebay willowherb contains high concentrations of proline that inhibits the formation of the keratin helix. Saw palmetto and pumpkin inhibit 5-α-réductase, limiting the production of 5-hydroxy-testosterone, which in turn limits hair bulb activity.

The factors affecting hair structure are mainly hormonal: the presence of dihydroxytestosterone (active form of testosterone) in the hair bulb is due to the activity of the enzyme 5-α-reductase (it converts testosterone into dihydroxytestosterone). Any substance capable of inhibiting this enzyme will delay hair growth.• ARP 100
Proline, an essential amino acid contained in rosebay willowherb, limits hair regrowth by inhibiting the formation of the keratin helix.Rosebay willowherb also contains macrocyclic tannins that limit testosterone production. Saw palmetto extract inhibits 5-α-reductase. This action is further reinforced by the anti-androgen effect of pumpkin. Thanks to its hormone-like effect, ARP 100 contributes to inhibiting hair regrowth.
