Applications & Uses

Application

Coverage: 1 cartridge for 10 m of joint, joint 6 x 6 mm.
Directions for use:_x001c_
Inject the sealant evenly into the joint and tool with a wet
putty knife. Remove excess sealant immediately with water.
IMPORTANT: Allow to dry for at least 24 hours (cover from rain
showers in outside use). Then heat gently (gradually increase the
temperature) until the sealant has fully cured. When applied,
the sealant is black, after it has been heated the color becomes
lighter (depending on the temperature). Properly close the
cartridge immediately after use.
Stains/residue:_x001c_Remove wet stains immediately with water. Cured
sealant residue can only be removed mechanically.
Advice:_x001c_Usage in electrical equipment can be hazardous with
regard to the conductivity of the product.
Points of attention:_x001c_Exposure to heat before the sealant is
completely cured may result in the forming of tears or bubbles
and even to crack and fragment the sealant. After some time, a
liquid film in the cartridge can form, but this has no effect on the
quality of the sealant. Do not use in permanently wet areas.
