Hoten Super Fine HTS-L may be used for thermoplastics toimprove the rigidity, hardness and abrasion resistance ofplastic products. The relatively high thermal conductivity andrheological property of Hoten Super Fine HTS-L are helpful to the reduction of injection molding period ofplastics. Hoten Super Fine HTS-L can also improvethe degree of crystallization of thermoplasticmacromolecule so as to enhance the strength(especially the impact strength at low temperature)and geometric stability. After a series of chemical treatment reactions, HOTENSUPER FINE HTS-L has real pure barium sulfatecontent as high as 98%. It is insoluble in acid andwater and shields ultraviolet radiation and otherhazardous rays from penetration. Therefore it is widelyapplied in the products having strict requirement forhigh weathering resistance without causing discoloringor chapping.

The uniquely spherical or near spherical ( D 50 < 1um ) ultra-fine barium sulfate crystal grains of HOTENSUPER FINE HTS-L are provided with big specific surface areas, thereby effective increasing ormagnifying the light reflecting area in coating.Therefore it is widely applied in the formula system ofhigh-gloss products. By using its own ( 15g / 100g ) low oil absorption,Hoten Super Fine HTS-L may be fully mixed withother resin components, i.e. the same equivalentweight of resin may carry more Hoten Super FineHTS-L. In particular, it gives a vivid color, repeatabletint and perfect surface gloss when compounded upwith pigment in a formula. Its low consumption of basematerial guarantees the high rheological property insystem and good mechanical property of finishedproducts. Even in a formula system with low resincontent, a product appearance with optimal evennesscan be formed, thereby saving expensive resin by apart. This embodies the cost effectiveness of usingHoten Super Fine HTS-L and greatly facilitates youradvantages of costs. On the contrary, when bariumsulfate has a relatively high oil-absorbing index andthere is no adequate resin base material to coat andbond pigment particles, the resin base material fails tomoisten all pigment particles so that they looselydistribute in coating, resulting in deterioration ofcoating quality.
