CBG Isolate is a pure white powder almost exclusively composed of CBG. CBG Isolate has the highest potency of any CBG extract at over 98% CBG. When extracted into its pure form CBG Isolate has an entirely distinct set of properties compared to CBD. CBG Isolate is used primarily in topical form such as in cosmetics, but is also used in soft gels, pressed pills, and tinctures. Ultra Broad Spectrum Distillate (USD) is a THC-free distillate with a wide range of cannabinoids, but a slightly lower ratio of minor cannabinoids to CBD compared to our Crystal Resistant Distillate (CRD). It is a new offering GVB has launched into the raw material cannabinoid market. Ultra Broad Spectrum Distillate provides a unique cannabinoid spectrum and is utilized in products where levels of minor cannabinoids are the focus of the product, but maintaining high CBD levels is key.

CBG Distillate is a unique bulk cannabinoid hemp extract that only a handful of companies currently produce and sell in bulk quantity. Crystal Resistant Distillate (CRD) is a highly refined, proprietary distillate that contains the broad spectrum of cannabinoids that the market is increasingly demanding. CRD was developed to remain a flowable liquid in its natural form without additives. Our proprietary distillation process prevents the distillate from crystalizing-it will remain stable for up to three months. The process removes excess plant material and impurities, and increases the proportion of minor cannabinoids, many of which are non-crystalline to CBD. The result is an ultra broad-spectrum, crystal-resistant distillate that is rich in minor cannabinoids and remains liquid in its natural state.

Certified Organic Non-Detect Distillate (NDD) is a highly refined, high-potency raw material containing 70-80% CBD along with minor cannabinoids such as CBC, CBG, and CBN. The minor cannabinoids make up 2 to 7% of the product. Certified Organic CBD Distillate is valued because the broad spectrum of cannabinoids is believed to induce the entourage effect, where taking multiple cannabinoids at once increases the efficacy of each individual cannabinoid.

CBD Isolate is a pure, crystalline, flavorless pharmaceutical grade powder that is 99+% pure CBD. All of the hemp plant matter is removed from the isolate, including oils, waxes, chlorophyll, and more, resulting in CBD powder that is nearly chemically pure. That degree of purity makes it extremely easy to dose accurately. Since it is flavorless, it can be easily introduced into products without altering the flavor profile.

GVB is one of a small number of companies that sell THC-free CBD winterized crude oil. CBD crude oil is the base product produced during the initial extraction of hemp material. GVB’s winterized crude typically ranges in CBD potency from 55% to 70%. Our extraction process allows us to maintain high levels of other cannabinoids as well, such as CBC, CBN, CBG, and CBD-V. CBN-Free Distillate is a highly refined, high-potency THC and CBN free distillate containing 88%+ CBD along with such minor cannabinoids as CBC, CBG, and CBT. The CBN-free profile makes it perfect for markets where CBN is prohibited such as the UK and others. The minor cannabinoids make up 2 to 5% of the product. Bulk CBD Distillate is valued because the broad spectrum of cannabinoids is believed to introduce the entourage effect—the belief that taking multiple cannabinoids in concert increases the overall efficacy of any one individual cannabinoid.

CBDa (cannabidiolic acid) is the acidic precursor of CBD. CBDa is one of the least-processed forms of hemp extract. This isolate mimics the active compounds found in fresh hemp more closely than CBD and is, therefore, more desirable to hemp connoisseurs that want a more complete spectrum included in their CBD products. Our CBDa isolate contains non-detectable amounts of THC.

Compliant Distillate and Full Spectrum Distillate are different names for the same underlying product. Full Spectrum CBD distillate contains all minor cannabinoids found in our broad spectrum distillate, along with a level of THC that meets federal guidelines (0.3% or less), which is why it is sometimes referred to as "compliant distillate". Full Spectrum Distillate is often used to create affordably-priced products and require low levels of THC that comply with federal regulations.

CBN (cannabinol) is a cannabinoid that occurs naturally in the hemp plant at very low potency. Our CBN Isolate is therefore produced in a laboratory environment by using either CBD or CBG as a starting material. Then, via a proprietary process, the material is converted into high-purity CBN. After an ensuing repurification step, this becomes a true CBN Isolate. Preliminary, largely anecdotal, research indicates that CBN may be useful as a sleep aid.

The minor cannabinoids make up 2 to 6% of the product. The broad spectrum of cannabinoids in bulk THC-free CBD Distillate is believed to introduce the entourage effect—the belief that taking multiple cannabinoids in concert increases the overall efficacy of any one individual cannabinoid. THC-Free Broad Spectrum Distillate is a high-end raw material used in premium CBD products where THC is undesirable, but a high potency of CBD and the minor cannabinoids is critical.
