    Application

    JLS-MB52C is a kind of intumescent flame retardant masterbatch based on modified PE. t is especially suitable for HFFR wire & cable materials based on PE, EVA and POE. It has excellent water resistance and no migration, which can ensure stable electric insulation of W+C. JLS-MB52C has a Wide processing temperature and good dispersion. Compared with inorganic flame retardant, such as ATH and MDH, JLS MB52C has advantages in lower density, long term acid and alkali resistance of cable, and better mechanical property of W+C. It can be extruded by single screw directly mixing with resins, in addition, it also can be used by compounding by twin screw extruder or internal mixer.

    Guidelines for use

    UL1581 Vw-1, LOI 234% 40-45 wt%
    EC60332-1, LOI 228% 27-32 wt%
    It can be processed at 160-250C. Pre-dry is not necessary when the package is in good condition. But after
    open or on moisture, pre-dry under 70~90C for 2 hours is required.
    Avoid to be used with calcium carbonate together, otherwise it will lead to flame retardant degradation.
