According to its Material Safety Data Sheet, it "May cause irritation.Potassium hydroxide is corrosive. Contact of skin can cause irritation or severe burns and scarring with greater exposures."
- Precautionary Measures
- Wear Protective Gloves, Eye And Face Protection
- If On Skin(Or Hair): Remove/Take Off Immediately All Contaminated Clothing. Rinse Skin With Water/Shower.
- If Swallowed: Rinse Mouth. Do Not Induce Vomiting.
- If In Eyes: Rinse Cautiously With Water For Several Minutes. Remove Contact Lenses, If Present And Easy To Do. Continue Rinsing.
