General Information
  • AD-SPRAY™ 80 incorporates the properties of a nonionic wetter/spreader surfactant when used in pesticidal spray mixtures. AD-SPRAY™ 80 is designed to quickly wet and spread a more uniform spray deposit over leaf and stem surfaces. AD-SPRAY™ 80 can positively affect pesticide spray application and pesticide efficacy. AD-SPRAY™ 80is recommended for use with those pesticides whose label recommends a nonionic wetter/spreader type adjuvant or nonionic surfactant. NOT FOR AQUATIC USE.

Applications & Uses

Applicable Crop
Directions for Use
  • The addition of an adjuvant to some pesticides or pesticide tank mix combinations may cause phytotoxicity to the foliage and/or fruit of susceptible crops. Prior to the addition of AD-SPRAY™ 80 to spray mixes, the user or application advisor must have experience with the combination or must have conducted a phytotoxicity trial or must take the recommendations from the labels of the product to be tank mixed.
  • For most applications, use enough AD-SPRAY™ 80 to allow for uniform wetting and deposition of the spray onto leaf and stem surfaces without undue runoff. *General Use: Use 1-4 pints per 100 gallons of spray.
  • AD-SPRAY™ 80 lowers the surface tension of water and improves the wetting and spreading action of water used in mechanical cotton pickers to wet the picking spindles. Cotton Pickers: Use 4 oz. of AD-SPRAY™ 80 per 25 gallons of water in picker tank. Gins: Use 1 pint of AD-SPRAY™ 80 in 100 gallons of water for restoring moisture to cotton. Note: For both of the above applications, add AD-SPRAY™ 80 to the mixing tank when it is about one-half full. Continue filling and mix thoroughly to ensure uniform distribution.
Mixing Guidelines
  • Prior to any pesticide application all spray mixing and application equipment must be cleaned. Carefully observe all cleaning directions on the pesticide label. Fill spray tank one-half full with water and begin agitation. Add pesticides as directed by labeling or in the following sequence:
  1. Dry flowables or water dispersible
  2. Wettable powders
  3. Flowables granules
  4. Solutions
  5. Emulsifiable concentrates

and continue filling. Add AD-SPRAY™ 80 last and continue agitation.
