Helena Agri-Enterprises HiStick N/T For Use on SoybeansHiStick contains two ingredients, a rhizobial inoculant strain and Bacillus subtilis (patented strain MBI600), which is an EPA-registered biological fungicide that provides extended root protection from most diseases. The Bacillus subtilis in HiStick works biologically to repel and suppress many soil disease pathogens. Bacillus subtilis attaches itself to the developing root system of the seedling. As the root system grows, the Bacillus subtilis colonizes the new growth. This provides a physical barrier that acts as a barrier to disease pathogens. The Bacillus subtilis also produces an anti-fungal metabolite that helps stop the further development of many soil diseases.
