- General Information
- ReQUEST®is a water conditioning agent designed to enhance the performance of pesticidesaffected by hard water. Additionally, the sequestrants and chelating agents that make upReQUEST®are combined with ammoniacal nitrogen. Ammoniacal nitrogen has been recog-nized as an effective enhancer of pesticide uptake by some plant species. As a result of theseactivities, ReQUEST®can positively affect pesticide spray application and efficacy.ReQUEST®contains no surfactants and additional adjuvants may be necessary for optimumpesticide performance. Refer to the pesticide label for the need of additional adjuvants.ReQUEST®does not contain buffering agents and therefore is compatible with sulfonylureaherbicides and other pesticides which are sensitive to reduced pH. Never mix ReQUEST®withundiluted pesticides

- Directions for Use
- FOR USE WITH PRODUCTS REGISTERED FOR: AGRICULTURAL, FORESTRY, INDUS-TRIAL, MUNICIPAL, ORNAMENTAL, RIGHTS-OF-WAY, TURF, NON-CROPLAND, ANDOTHER USES.
- In all applications of ReQUEST®, read and follow directions on the pesticide(s) label as to pro-cedures, dosage rates, timing of applications, and restrictions for the crop on which thepesticide is to be applied. ReQUEST®can increase the activity of some pesticides. The use oftest areas is recommended when applying during periods of high humidity or high temperatureor to other situations where field experience is limited
- The addition of an adjuvant to some pesticides or pesticide tank mix combinations may causephytotoxicity to the foliage and/or fruit of susceptible crops. Prior to the addition ofReQUEST®to spray mixes, the user or application advisor must have experience with thecombination or must have conducted a phytotoxicity trial or must take the recommendationsfrom the labels of products to be tank mixed
- Recommended Uses Rate
- GROUND:Apply at the rate of 1 – 4 pints in 100 gallons of spray (0.125 – 0.50% v/v).
- AERIAL:Use 2 – 4 pints per 100 gallons of spray (0.25 – 0.50% v/v.)
- WATER CONDITIONING:Use 1 to 5 pints per 100 gallons of water as a general use waterconditioning agent for hard water sequestering.
- NOTE: ReQUEST®is a water conditioning agent. ReQUEST®does not replace the need fora crop oil concentrate adjuvant or nonionic surfactant. If the pesticide label recommends it,then additional crop oil concentrate adjuvant or nonionic surfactant should be added
- Mixing Guidelines
- Prior to any pesticide application, all spray mixing and application equipment must be thor-oughly cleaned. Carefully observe all cleaning directions on the pesticide label.
- Fill spray tank one-half full with water and begin agitation.
- Add ReQUEST®.
- Add pesticides and/or fertilizers as directed by manufacturer’s label or in the followingsequence:
- Micronutrients and fertilizers
- Dry flowables or water dispersible granules
- Flowable
- Water soluble pesticides
- Emulsifiable concentrates
- Continue agitation and complete filling of the spray tank.
- Do not mix ReQUEST®with undiluted pesticides.Terminology on this label is consistent with the definitions approved by Subcommittee E-35.22on Pesticide Formulations and Application Systems under the jurisdiction of ASTM Subcom-mittee E-35.
