  • Used as a universal fast drying resin for air and forced drying industrial primers and high build finishes for metal.
  • It excels in rapid drying, high gloss and good yellowing stability.
  • In combination with vinyl resins, paints are very fast drying.
  • Combinations with reactive melamine resins are suitable for forced drying systems.

Solubility
  • Insoluble in alcohols.
  • Limited solubility in aliphatic hydrocarbons.
  • Soluble in aromatic and terpene hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and glycol ethers.
Compatibility
  • Compatible with most medium oil air drying alkyds, cyclized rubber and nitrocellulose.
  • Incompatible with most stoving and non-oxidizing alkyds, vinyl copolymers and polymerized oils.

Storage & Handling

Storage
The resin should be stored indoors in its original, unopened and undamaged container in a dry place at storage temperatures below 35 °C, for up to 12 months. Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.
