- Domalkyd 3381 65 X is used with melamine resins in stoving enamels. When cured with highly reactive melamine resin, the stoving temperature should range between 80° and 130 oC.
- The resin is also used for high-quality nitrocellulose paints and lacquers.
- Combination with non-yellowing types of alkyd resins is recommended.

- Solubility
- Insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons and low alcohols.
- Limited solubility in higher alcohols and terpenes.
- Soluble in aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and glycol ethers.
- Compatibility
- Compatible with most short and medium oil alkyd resins, melamine and urea resins.

- The resin should be stored indoors in its original, unopened and undamaged container in a dry place at storage temperatures below 35 °C, for up to 12 months. Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.
