Applications
  • Used in lacquers and enamels for wood in combination with nitrocellulose.
  • Combinations with polyisocyanate resins give 2K PUR lacquers with high hardness, good leveling and fast drying properties.
  • When higher elasticity is desired, combination with Domalkyd 4402 is recommended.

Compatibility
  • Compatible with short oil alkyd resins, nitrocellulose, colophonium modified maleic resins, urea and melamine resins, castor oil and polyisocyanate resins.
  • Incompatible with long- and medium-oil air drying alkyds and drying oils.

Storage & Handling

Storage
The resin should be stored indoors in its original, unopened and undamaged container in a dry place at storage temperatures below 35 °C, for up to 12 months. Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.
