  • Domalkyd 4391 60 SA is used in combination with medium to high reactive melamine resins in industrial and automotive stoving finishes (100 - 150 °C).
  • With the addition of small quantities of resins modified with Cardura E higher gloss and weather resistance are obtained.

Solubility
  • Insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons and lower alcohols.
  • Limited solubility in higher alcohols and terpenes.
  • Soluble in aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters and ketones.
Compatibility
  • Compatible with most drying alkyd resins, resins modified with Cardura E, urea and melamine resins.

Storage & Handling

Storage
The resin should be stored indoors in its original, unopened and undamaged container in a dry place at storage temperatures below 35 °C, for up to 24 months. Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.
