• Domalkyd 5254 70 BAc is used alone or in combination with saturated polyester resins in 2K lacquers and enamels for wood and metal.
• It gives 2K PUR fast drying lacquers and enamels for wood.
• Paints are resistant to yellowing.

Solubility

• Insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons.
• Limited solubility in aromatic hydrocarbons.
• Soluble in esters, ketones and alcohols.

Compatibility

• Compatible with short and medium oil non-drying alkyd resins and saturated polyester resins, nitrocellulose and polyisocyanate resins.
• Incompatible with long and medium oil air drying alkyds and drying oils.

Storage & Handling

Storage

The resin should be stored indoors in its original, unopened and undamaged container in a dry place at storage temperatures below 35 °C, for up to 12 months. Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.
