- Domopol 6068 60 X is used as a hard co-reactant with isocyanate resins.
- These combinations are particularly suitable for use in the formulation of air-drying automotive and industrial coating. They make hard, tough, but flexible as well as glossy coatings for metal with good outdoor durability and lightfastness.
- Crosslinking with aliphatic isocyanates is recommended for the formulation of non-yellowing finishing.
- The best results are achieved in the region of the theoretical mixing ratio with isocyanate. Over and under- crosslinking is possible within certain limits.
- To accelerate the reaction, organic catalysts can be used: DEAE, DBTD or Zn octoate.

- Compatibility
- Compatible with isocyanate resins: Desmodur L, Desmodur HL, Desmodur N and other binders: Domopol 6181 75 X, Domopol 6067 80 BAc.
- Limited compatibility or incompatible with Domopol 6080, Domopol 6011, Domopol 6051 67 X/MPA and Domacryl hydroxy resins.
Storage & Handling
- Storage
- The resin should be stored indoors in its original, unopened and undamaged container in a dry place at storage temperatures below 35 °C, for up to 12 months. Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.
