HERBAPEKT® LV are pectins of low viscosity with a dietary fiber content of at least 80%. Herbapekt® LV pectins have been designed for enriching beverages or nutritional supplements with dietary fibers, as a physiological effective dosage is limited by the otherwise high viscosity build-up of pectins. Due to the stability of pectin-based soluble dietary fibers in fruit- juice beverages with lower pH, these low viscosity pectins are a preferred option in such applications. Additionally, the improved cold solubility of the agglomerated Herbapekt LV-pectins is ideal for instant products.
