P-403L was developed to resist the corrosive effects of Sulfuric Acid and has also been successfully used in applications with pH <9.0. Heresite’s chemical resistance guide lists over 700 chemical immersion and fume environments that the P-403L will resist.

Heresite VR-514 air-dry phenolic coating is specially formulated to permit application by brush, spray or roller. Some of its outstanding properties are excellent durability, good adhesion, good film building characteristics and flexibility. When cured, VR-514 will produce a hard, corrosion resistant film, recommended as a heavy-duty coating for exposure to splash, spillage and fumes. Successful applications include: HVAC equipment, agricultural implements, chemical plants, canning factories, construction equipment, marine finishes, steel plants, sewage disposal plants, textile industry, underground and ventilating systems. VR-514 is a primer-finish combination material specially formulated for marine/salt water environments. When the finished product is going to be exposed to direct UV rays, a topcoat of Heresite UC-5500 series is recommended.

Heresite P-413 is a thin film, high performance coating used principally for coil and radiator heat exchangers as well as other air and fume handling equipment fabricated of light gage metals. It is the first HVAC-R coil and radiator coating to meet the ISO 12944-9 (formerly ISO 20340) Standard for severe offshore marine environments. The corrosion resistance of Heresite P-413 coatings significantly extends the service life of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration), and other heat transfer equipment. In addition to marine and salt air environments, the P-413 family of coatings will withstand exposure to an extensive variety of high and low pH corrosive and chemical fumes and condensate. Because these products are efficient thermal conductors, applied at very thin films, HVAC-R and process equipment coil OEMs have indicated that thermal loss due to the presence of P-413 baked phenolic epoxy coating is <1%.

ES-606 is formulated as a direct-to-metal coating. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, UV resistance and weathering qualities, along with good adhesion to ferrous and non-ferrous metals without complex pretreatment or primers. This two component coating is typically sprayed on internal and external surfaces of HVAC-R heat exchangers and related equipment. It is designed to be a robust spray-applied alternative to Heresite’s full immersion P-413 when components cannot be oven cured, logistics present challenges, or budgets necessitate spray application.

UC-5500 is formulated as a top coat for other Heresite Coatings. It exhibits outstanding UV resistance with excellent weathering qualities, along with good flexibility and good abrasion resistance. This two component coating is typically sprayed on the exterior surfaces of heat exchangers and related equipment, process equipment, transport vessels, tanks and structural steel

Heresite’s HereShield is formulated as a low-VOC direct to metal coating. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, UV resistance and weathering qualities, along with good adhesion to ferrous and non-ferrous metals without complex pretreatment or primers. Heresite’s HereShield air-dry coating is designed for spray application. Some of its outstanding properties are excellent durability, excellent salt fog performance, good adhesion, good film building characteristics, and flexibility. This single-component coating is typically applied on the internal and external surfaces of HVAC-R heat exchangers and related equipment.
