- As permanent protection against rotting expensive systems in heavy industry, mining, etc.
- Application
- Clean the surface to be treated with a wire brush (remove loose rust, etc.).
- The surface must be clean and free of grease. Best processing temperature 15 - 25 °C.
- Apply HL 50 Rust Converter evenly with a brush or other tool.
- Observe safety measures when handling corrosive substances (hand and face protection, etc., see EC safety data sheet).
- After the application of HL 50 Rust Converter, a chemical reaction takes place, ie the treated metal turns gray and a phosphate layer has formed.
- After the surface has dried, it can then be painted.
