About the Product

51019, #51021* Homestead Grazing Mineral NAB NAP NHGP is formulated to be fed free choice to cattle grazing summer pastures.  Target intake is 4 oz. per day.  Homestead Grazing Mineral NAB NAP NHGP is an economical choice for maintaining all classifications of beef cattle.  Use along with Homestead Calving and Breeding Mineral NAB NAP NHGP to provide an annual mineral program for natural and NHTC herds. 

#51018, #51020* Homestead Calving and Breeding Mineral NAB NAP NHGP is specifically formulated for cows to overcoming the stress of calving and promote rebreeding.  Start feeding 60 days prior to calving and continue through the breeding season.  This mineral can be fed continually to provide a heightened level of fortification or replaced with Homestead Grazing Mineral NAB NAP NHGP after the breeding season is complete.  This mineral contains organic forms of copper, zinc, manganese, cobalt, and selenium, along with enhanced levels of vitamins A, D, and E.

#51018 Homestead Calving and Breeding Mineral NAB NAP NHGP is formulated to be fed free-choice at approximately 4 ounces per head per day. Homestead Calving and Breeding Mineral NAB NAP NHGP should be introduced gradually over a 14 day period. Offer 3 to 4 ounces per head per day during this period to avoid over consumption.

#51019 Homestead Grazing Mineral NAB NAP NHGP is formulated to be fed to range or pasture cattle at approximately 2-4 ounces per head per day. If Homestead Grazing Mineral NAB NAP NHGP is offered free choice it should be introduced gradually over a 14 day period.  Offer 2 to 4 ounces per head per day during this period to avoid over consumption.

#51020* Homestead Calving and Breeding Mineral Coarse NAB NAP NHGP is formulated to be fed free-choice at approximately 4 ounces per head per day. Homestead Calving and Breeding Mineral Coarse NAB NAP NHGP should be introduced gradually over a 14 day period. Offer 3 to 4 ounces per head per day during this period to avoid over consumption.

#51021* Homestead Grazing Mineral Coarse NAB NAP NHGP is formulated to be fed to range or pasture cattle at approximately 2-4 ounces per head per day. If Homestead Grazing Mineral Coarse NAB NAP NHGP is offered free choice it should be introduced gradually over a 14 day period.  Offer 2 to 4 ounces per head per day during this period to avoid over consumption.

For all Homestead Mineral Products early lactation cows may desire more salt than that provided by Homestead Grazing Mineral Coarse NAB NAP NHGP. Please offer free choice loose salt along with the mineral to cows in early lactation.

Homestead Grazing Mineral Coarse NAB NAP NHGP intakes will vary. Mineral consumption rates should be estimated on a monthly basis. If intakes are greater than 4 ounces per head per day more salt should be offered either free choice or mixed with the mineral. If intakes are less than 4 ounces per head per day the amount of salt offered should be decreased.

Provide fresh clean water at all times.

Supplemental mineral requirements of cattle vary by region, forage quality and season. Individual animal requirements may vary due to age, size, stage or growth or milk production. Please consult your Hubbard Feeds representative if you have questions about mineral supplementation.
