NiMax Tablet OH902S
- Made from Hunter’s Nickel Powder Grade OH902S which has a particle size range of 90% min. passing through 80 mesh and retained on 200 mesh, a size commonly used in the HDG industry for years. Surface area of the nickel contained is 0.11 m2/g.
- Add 3 NiMax OH902S tablets per 2,200 lb Zn ingot in order to maintain industry standard 0.05% Ni content in the kettle.
NiMax Tablet OH903
- Made from Hunter’s Nickel Powder Grade OH903 which has a very fine particle size range of 95% min. passing through 325 mesh. Surface area of the nickel contained is 0.39 m2/g. Since heat transfer mainly occurs at an object’s surface, greater surface area of Ni is key to efficient Ni usage.
- Add 3 NiMax OH903 tablets per 2,200 lb Zn ingot initially. Adjust add rate downward to account for greater Ni efficiency, maintaining acceptable Ni content.
