- HYDRIOL® CLA is a solution of Sodium Caproyl/Lauroyl Lactylate and Sodium Citrate in water.
- HYDRIOL® CLA is a PEG-free anionic surfactant with excellent foaming power. It improves the foam properties in height and quality.
- HYDRIOL® CLA can be processed cold because of its liquid form.
- HYDRIOL® CLA is neither toxic nor skin irritating. The combination between HYDRIOL CLA and Polyquaternium-7, Polyquaternium-10 or Polyquaternium- 11 could build some cloudiness in the formulation.
- The product tends to build some laminar phases. Therefore it can get cloudy and build two phases.

- HYDRIOL® CLA is used for mild shampoos, foam bath products and liquid soaps.
- HYDRIOL® CLA is ideal for the use in baby shampoos and in natural cosmetics applications. It is recommended to use a small amount of sodium citrate or any other chelating agent to improve the performence in hard water.
- HYDRIOL® CLA shows excellent performance as co-surfactant in combination with Alkyl Polyglucosides.
