20 years ago, one of our company founders was working with industrial water treatment systems in the southeast. After speaking with people in the rendering industry, he discovered that virtually no companies specialized in serving the animal protein/rendering industries; instead, these companies would sell generic chemicals and equipment from other industries, leaving the plant without testing the air, water, scrubbers, lagoons, or even visiting the plant beyond the office.

Hydro Solutions, Inc. was founded in 1993 to specialize in providing engineered solutions for industrial water treatment, and our expertise has expanded to include odor and pollution control in the rendering and animal protein industry. Our product line now includes odor reactants, synthetic polymers, and potable rust inhibitors.

REACT-OX® is a line of products intended to work within your air scrubber. The technology is designed to produce a strong, complete, organic reaction to safely remove VOC and odorous gasses, and odor causing compounds from the airstream and into the water of the sump for safe and effective odor control. This is a reactant, not just cover scent. It is a complete, constant maintenance program for the wet air scrubber, incorporating scale inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, and oil/sludge dispersants, along with odor control.

HYDROFRESH® is a concentrated cover scent designed to work alone or alongside REACT-OX®. The product can be diluted on site and used for large areas, such as parking lots, ponds, or even residential city blocks. Hydro Solutions has a standard as well as a freeze protect series for use in colder temperatures.

They are environmentally friendly products that are biodegradable and non-flammable. Each product is designed to handle VOC and odors emanating from air scrubber systems. The technology is designed to produce a strong, complete, organic reaction to safely remove VOC and odorous gases, and odor causing compounds from the airstream and into the water of the sump for safe and effective odor control.
