In general, we recommend adding 6-8% based on the dry content of the adhesive (approx 50-60% of usual pigment pastes).
When used in solvent adhesives, COLOR TAPE HM AVANA 81 can be introduced directly into the mixer, during any phase of the adhesive preparation, either manually or pneumatically. In the latter case, caution suggests to use inert gasses (like nitrogen or carbon dioxide) to avoid explosion hazard for metaloxides friction.
In case of need of a continuous COLOR TAPE HM AVANA 81 add-on into a continuous screw extruder, you can disperse them in a the mixer with solvent at 60-70% TS. By alternating the use of two vessels, you can achieve a continuous feeding of the paste.
