CASHMERE COAT - Keratin Ppt With Various Molecular Weight

Daily damage affects the surface layer of hair and accumulates in the CMC layer of cuticle.

CASHMERE COAT - Daily Damage Affects The Surface Layer of Hair And Accumulates in The Cmc Layer of Cuticle.

Treating damages caused by outflow of cuticle-CMC

It has been reported that soaking hair in formic acid extracts cell membrane complex (CMC), that mainly functions as a component for bonding cuticle cells, affecting the structure and strength of hair*.

An Asian hair (black hair) was processed with 98% formic acid to induce outflow of CMC from cuticles. Then, CASHMER E COAT wa s applied to the hair, and the hair was lef t for 15 minutes for treatment. When the processed hair was observed using a SEM, damage to the cuticles caused by formic acid was observed. However, the damage was significantly reduced on hair that was treated with CASHMERE COAT.

Improving the touch of hair

We recruited 14 participants (20's to 50's female), and evaluate 8 items on a scale of 1 to 7 from poor to a good impression af ter using shampoo containing 1% CASHMERE COAT for

Treating daily damaged hair

CASHMERE COAT's effect to treat daily damage of the hair was evaluated using hair treated by ultrasound to artificially reproduce damage caused by UV rays, brushing, or towel drying*. Treatment using CASHMERE COAT recovered its torsional rigidity, which was lowered by ultrasonic processing (process to imitate daily damage), to the condition before the hair was damaged.
