Fermentage PEAR B is anti-acne (peeling) and anti-aging active ingredient, recommended for anti-wrinkle cream, moisturizer and other skin care applications. It is a fermented liquid obtained by fermenting Pear fruit juice with plant-derived lactic acid bacteria. Having a higher concentration of lactic acid (an AHA) than the original fruit juice, and was developed as a cosmetic ingredient that safely and effectively provides AHA to the skin. This product has acquired HALAL Certification.

Promotion of Turnover

Pigmentation was caused using 10% dihydroxyacetone solution and the turnover speed was analyzed by studying how fast the pigmentation disappears. In the areas where Fermentage PEAR B was applied, pigmentation disappeared faster as compared to the control. Thus, Fermentage PEAR B was confirmed to have an activity to accelerate skin turnover.

Improvement of Skin Elasticity

The higher the resiliency is or the lower the plasticity is, the better the skin elasticity. After
applying Fermentage PEAR B for 28 days, skin elasticity was improved.

Moisturizing

The higher the moisture content of the stratum corneum (conductance) is, the more moisture in the skin is. The lower the TEWL is, the higher the skin barrier function is.
