Pigmentation was caused using 10% dihydroxyacetone solution and the turnover speed was analyzed by studying how fast the pigmentation disappears. In the areas where Fermentage PEAR B was applied, pigmentation disappeared faster as compared to the control. Thus, Fermentage PEAR B was confirmed to have an activity to accelerate skin turnover.
