IFG PLA fibers are melt spun from a sustainable, bio-based raw material that is compostable under industrial conditions (DIN 13432). IFG PLA fiber provides a bio-based solution for ground stabilization projects (turf, grass, sand) that will not affect the natural drainage properties. Due to their unique thermal properties, they also offer a bio-based solution for heat-sealing paper applications. Fibers are mainly raw white, but a range of colors can be supplied, minimum order quantities apply

IFG PLA

IFG PE are developed specifically as bonding fibers for carpets and to be processed into fleeces for Geotextiles (landfill). It is a more environmentally friendly alternative to latex in carpet applications. Depending on construction and specific product requirements, the blending ratio (approx. 20%) of PE fibers with for example PP fibers can vary. A thermal treatment of approximately 125°C is required to create a bonding effect.

IFG PE

IFG PP fibers in a melt spun process for almost 50 years. Thanks to our vast experience in manufacturing, we have become experts in polypropylene fibers. A wide range of spundyed colors are available. IFG’s in-house color department is on hand to create a variety of shades in close cooperation with our customers. All spun-dyed fibers have a minimum order quantity. There are multiple additional properties available, including: flame retardant, UV stability, thermally stabilized, food contact approval, hydrophobic, hydrophilic and antimicrobial.

IFG PP

IFG rPP fibers show a further step forward and commitment towards our drive to increase sustainability. IFG rPP consists of virgin PP combined with mechanically recycled PP (5 - 50%) and is available in raw white, gray or black.

IFG rPP

IFG PA are melt-spun and specially designed for nonwoven floor coverings, but also excel in automotive applications. The main properties of PA-fibers include outstanding abrasion resistance, good resilience, excellent adhesion to latex, good chemical resistance and good dye-ability and printing options. IFG color technicians can provide a wide range of customized colors and shades, including black and white fibers. IFG have an in-house color department which creates shades in close cooperation with our customers.
