KG, located in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, is the central production site of IKA Group and distributes together with its international subsidiaries stabilizers and additives for the PVC processing industry. Since IKA was founded in 1994, it has become an inherent part of the international plastics industry. IKA specializes in the production of stabilizers for window profiles, foamed profiles, technical profiles, sheets, pipes, and fittings made of rigid PVC as well as stabilizers for cable insultations, flooring, roofing and other flexible PVC applications. The portfolio is completed by the distribution of additives such as impact modifiers or processing aids. IKAMOD 135A

IKAMOD 135A is a synthetic material, kind of thermoplastic elastomer, made from high density polyethylene (HDPE) and chlorine. This chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) material is designed as an additive to improve the mechanical properties of opaque rigid PVC, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. It has very good mechanical properties (elongation at break, tensile strength) and very good toughness.

EuroStab® 3101C

EuroStab® 3101C is used for window profiles or pipes depending on the used stabilizer. It is hard and brittle and is only mouldable with add on of plasticiser and stabilizers. Stabilizers make the processing of PVC possible and safe the finished product from changing through heat, ultraviolet light and oxygen.

IKAMOD 105

IKAMOD 105 is a special grafted copolymer designed to improve the mechanical properties of opaque rigid PVC, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Compared to standard CPE and acrylic impact modifiers, it imparts much higher elongation at break and excellent toughness whilst maintaining outstanding impact resistance.
