CEREALS : Apply: 4 X 0.5 l/ha @ G.S.14-16 repeated @ T0, T1 & T2. 2 X 1.0 l/ha @ G.S.14-16 and @ T2. Up to 2 l/ha applications recommended for stressed/ late crops. Crop Rooter® Plus is formulated as a totally water-soluble liquid and can be readily incorporated into most commonly applied tank mixes

- Independent Trials
Field trials were conducted in 2019 by NIAB TAG - an independent accredited testing facility - to evaluate the performance and impact of Crop Rooter® Plus applied to spring barley (variety RGT Planet). Applying Crop Rooter® Plus at 1.5 l/ha at growth stage 19 BBCH increased root length and specific grain weight to give an overall yield increase of 4.48%. Although not statistically significant, a longer root structure is beneficial in the optimisation of nutrient uptake and improved establishment.
Replicated field trials were conducted in 2020 by Velcourt Farming’s trials department to evaluate a range of application rates and timings of Crop Rooter® Plus on winter wheat (var. KWS Siskin). Results showed that precisely timed, low rate application programs from early establishment through to T2 (flag leaf emerged) gave consistent yield increases over the untreated plots. Crop Rooter® Plus demonstrated improvements in yield and quality even at this high yielding site.
