How it works

Ilex phosphite chemistry
Start-uP® MAXX contains the highly mobile form of phosphorus in the phosphite form which in trials, has shown consistent results in producing deeper roots, increased root mass and rapid early growth. Phosphorus is a key element in early plant development but is relatively immobile in the soil and can easily be ‘locked up’ in the form of insoluble phosphate salts.
Bioactive compounds
Start-uP® MAXX contains a naturally derived bioactive complex, including amino acids from seaweed extract, that helps stimulate germination and the production of auxins to initiate root development and increase root mass.
MAXX multi-nutrient package
Manganese is the most commonly deficient trace element in UK soils. To prevent manganese deficiencies impacting on quality and yield Start-uP® MAXX provides high levels of available manganese to the germinating seed. This is combined with beneficial levels of Magnesium, Sulfur and a range of trace elements to ensure the supply of essential nutrients during establishment and early stages of growth.

Start-uP® MAXX seed treatment is formulated as a true solution. It can be evenly applied to the seed and dries quickly allowing the seed to run easily through the drill

Application Rates & Timings

CEREALS : 3.0 liters per ton of seed.
Start-uP® MAXX can be applied directly to the seed or after pre-diluting with water.
Do not exceed a total application rate of 3.0 liters per ton of seed.

Mixing Instructions
Start-uP® MAXX is formulated as a totally water soluble liquid. Agitate prior to use.
Start-uP® MAXX can be applied through existing seed treatment equipment. Equipment should be cleaned thoroughly with water once treatment is completed. The empty container can be rinsed into the application equipment with clean water.
Compatibility
Start-uP® MAXX has been shown to be fully compatible with other commonly used seed treatments. Consult with your seed merchant or contact Ilex EnviroSciences for specific recommendations.
