Imbarex Carminic Acid is a dark reddish-brown colored powder produced from the cochineal. It is obtained by a solvent extraction of the carminic acid, followed by a process of elimination of proteins, a crystallization process and a final spray drying. It provides an intense colored solution that can go from orange to red.

    Applications

    Juices, drinks, alcoholic drinks, jams, desserts / pastries and other food products in aqueous phase. Orange to red hue in the final product, depending on the pH on the food product and amount used. Soluble in the whole range of pH to use especially in low pH products.

    Directions for use

    Dilute using smooth water only at room temperature. Use constant agitation when adding powder.
