Imbarex Carminic Acid AMD is a dark purple powder, produced from the cochineal. It is obtained by a solvent extraction of color, followed by a process of elimination of proteins, a crystallization process and a final spray drying. Maltodextrin finally lowered. Provides intense color solution that can go from red to violet. It can contain 4-amino carminic acid.

    Applications

    Juices, soft drinks, ice cream, jams, desserts / pastries and other food products in aqueous phase. Red-violet hue in the final product, depending on the pH, on the food product and amount used. Soluble in the whole range of pH to use especially in low pH products.

    Directions for use
    • Dilute using smooth water only at room temperature.
    • Use constant agitation when adding powder.
