Skin Redness Reduction after UV Exposure
- Skin toning lotion containing 0.2% Bioredoxyl was applied after UV radiation on the inner side of forearms 2 times/day for 14 days to 11 volunteers(women of 31-49 years old). L value was measured by a spectro-colorimeter CM-2600d. Reduction of redness induced by UV radiation was observed immediately after UV irradiation but redness was almost eliminated within 2 weeks at the spot where Bioredoxyl was applied (p < 0.05).
Effect of Bioredoxyl on Skin Toning

0.2% Bioredoxyl containing formulation was applied twice a day for 4 weeks, and melanin and hemoglobin level, which are the indicators of skin toning, were significantly decreased when measured using VISIA Evolution.
