- Nutrient use effi ciency
- What makes biotrinsic™ different
biotrinsic™ consists entirely of endophytes. This means that it lives inside the plant and works from within the plant tissues. It doesn’t just live in the soil. biotrinsic™ delivers a range of benefi ts throughout the season:
- Stress defense against drought and heat
- Greater efficiency of water use
- Nutrient use efficiency
- Hormone production to assist root and plant growth
From Plants for Plants
biotrinsic™ comes from plants and is not discovered in a lab. It’s an all naturally occurring microbe that has been extracted from plants thriving in stressful conditions. We isolate microbes that are abundant in plants that are thriving under stress while other plants around them are not. This allows us to tailor our products to a specific crop and set of stresses.
Probiotics for Plants
By using endophytes, the plants have naturally selected to incorporate these into their own tissue. We apply them at a high concentration to maximize the benefit.

- biotrinsic™ microbial inoculant is intended to be applied uniformly as a dry powder to seed. The product must be applied per the indicated use rates. The product cannot be added to a tank mix nor dispersed in any liquid and then applied to seed.
- The biotrinsic™ microbial inoculant can be applied to seed following one of two methods:
- The product can be applied manually using a scoop as seed is being loaded into the central hopper of the planter/seeder or at the individual row unit. Make sure the product is evenly dispersed onto the seed as it fills the hopper or row unit. If applied at the individual row unit, a power drill with an auger bit can be used to evenly disperse the product onto the seed.
- The product can be applied using equipment designed to meter dry products onto seed as they are being transferred up a conveyor or auger either on the farm or at a seed treatment location. Be sure the product is applied evenly over the seed as it enters the conveyor or auger.
- How it works
Improves nutrient conditions for root and plant growth by increasing bioavailability of phosphorous and potassium into plant accessible forms in soil, resulting in:
- Improved root area
- Improved shoot weight
- Improved root to shoot ratio
