Being a high solid dispersant it reduces formulator dosage and offers competitive advantage over other dispersants by further minimizing water transportation costs.
Indofil HSD 45 is an ideal dispersant for a wide range of water-borne Coatings. It is versatile pigment dispersant for High PVC, Medium PVC, and Low PVC paint formulations
and especially suitable for the dispersion of inorganic pigments.- Function
For dispersant, the key properties are wetting ,dispersing and stabilization of solid particles, such as pigments, into the liquid .After the initial wetting of the pigment surface, the particle agglomerates formed by pigment production processes, are further broken down by mechanical milling. The dispersant adsorbs onto the freshly created surface forming a stabilizing polymer layer. This electrostatic stabilization helps to create energy barrier around each particle and prevents the natural tendency of the particle re-agglomerates due to Vander Waals forces.
