    Limitations

Do not use for immersion service. Do not use on floors subjected to heavy traffic.

    Surface Preparation

Surface should be dry and free of all dirt, oils, laitance and other contaminants. New work should be prepared as follows:

    • Masonry - New masonry must cure at least 28 days and contain less than 14% moisture prior to painting. For best results, abrasive brush blast or mechanically abrade to remove laitance and to clean surface. Fill bug holes and imperfections with EFS707 or Mortarchem.
    • Concrete Block - Prime with Induron AC 220 Acrylic Block Filler or Polyfill Epoxy Block Filler. For continuous wet conditions prime with Induron Polyfill Epoxy Block Filler.
    • Wood - Scrape and/or sand to a sound substrate and apply two coats of Induron AC 303.
    • Steel and non-ferrous metals - Prime with Induron Aquanaut© Acrylic Primer.
    • Sheetrock - Apply two coats of Induron AC 303 Acrylic Epoxy Enamel.
    • Painted Surfaces - Clean the surface of all contaminants. Uniformly abrade all glossy coatings. Spot prime bare areas and apply two full coats of Induron AC 303 Acrylic Epoxy Enamel.

    Blend Ratio

One part AC 303 Acrylic Epoxy Enamel activator to nine parts AC 303 Acrylic Epoxy Enamel base. Power agitate until components are thoroughly mixed. Allow mixed components to stand for 15-30 minutes (15 minutes at 70 F and warmer. 30 minutes for temperatures between 45-65 F) prior to application.

    Application

Airless Spray - Use .015 tip, 100 mesh filter. Maintain 1500-2000 psi at tip
    Conventional Spray - Not recommended.
Roll - Use a 3/8” nap, high quality synthetic cover with a solvent resistant core. Brush—Use a high quality, synthetic bristle brush.

    Thinning

As necessary, thin up to 10% by volume with water. Clean up with warm water and soap.

    Climate

Use this product only if the substrate temperature and ambient air temperature is above 45°F and is expected not to decrease for at least two hours after application. Also, the substrate temperature must be 5°F above the dew point for a period of at least two hours after application to avoid film defects caused by condensation occurring on wet paint.
