Formulation Procedures: The ingredient should not be heated prior to its incorporation in a formulation.

In emulsions, it must be added during the emulsifying step, when the formulation temperature is at a maximum of 50-60°C.

The recommended pH range is 5.0 to 7.0.

The action of Activoil™ Echnidium ZRO begins immediately and persists for a long time, not only preventing dehydration caused by ethanol but even increasing skin hydration over time.

Skin Barrier Function (Tewameter 300®)

Activoil™ Echnidium ZRO improves the skin barrier function after 30 minutes from the application with prolonged protection for 14 days. The presence of our active ingredient inside a formulation containing ethanol preserves the skin barrier integrity.

Storage & Handling

Shelf Life: 3 Years
Storage and Shelf Life Conditions: In original sealed containers, in a cool and dry place, protected from light.

Cloudiness or sedimentation is normal and may be resolved by rotating the unopened drum.

3 years, stored unopened in original drums.

Once opened the shelf life is limited by temperature, light and exposure to air.

Any remaining oil should be stored under nitrogen and used as soon as possible.
