- Science Behind
- LexFilm™ Spray contains a specialized flexible polymer combined with an aromatic ester emollient.
- The polymer component is a high molecular weight, acid-functional polyester. The acid functionality provides high adhesion to skin. The polyester backbone provides solubility in water-alcohol systems and compatibility with emollients and organic UV filters.
- The highly polar aromatic ester component provides organic UV filter solubilization to prevent recrystallization of the UV filters on skin. It also provides stability in hydroalcoholic formulations.
